Knowledge Transfer and Kentucky Capital Development Corporation Secure First Employer Commitment for U.S. DOL Pre-Apprenticeship Program
Frankfort, KY – Knowledge Transfer, in collaboration with the Kentucky Capital Development Corporation, is proud to announce its first employer partner committing to directly hire two students from the U.S. Department of Labor-funded Pre-Apprenticeship Learning Program. This milestone partnership with a Frankfort-based IT consulting and services company highlights the program’s growing impact in connecting skilled talent with local employers in the tech industry.
Employers seeking to secure talent and directly influence the training curriculum must act now. By committing to a minimum of two hires or apprentices by March 28, employer partners will have the exclusive opportunity to shape the remaining weeks of training—ensuring that the critical skills they need in a new hire are incorporated into our curriculum. This proactive involvement provides peace of mind for the employer knowing they will have job-ready candidates upon program completion. Knowledge Transfer will equip students with the required competencies while making every effort to integrate employers' desired skill sets into the training.
The IT Support Training Program offers structured, cohort-based learning experience, emphasizing foundational IT skills, networking, security, technical support, Office and M365 support and emerging technologies like Copilot. With multiple weeks remaining, employer partners can be confident that students will be security-conscious, prepared for real-world challenges, and ready to step into entry-level IT operations, support roles, and more.
Don’t miss this chance to secure talent tailored to your business needs!
