Cohort Learning

What Makes Cohort Learning Effective?

Cohort-based learning brings students together to progress through a program as a group, fostering a supportive community. Learners share unique perspectives and experiences, enriching the journey for everyone. This collaborative environment encourages interaction and mutual support, creating a shared, immersive learning experience where students grow together.

Familiarity & Community

Let's face it, adults hate change. We stick to the ways we know because it provides a sense of control and comfort. However, we are naturally primed to learn in groups. Cohort learning fosters comfort and connection that many learning strategies can't replicate.

COMMUNITY

Adults also crave belonging and community.  By incorporating this mindset through discussions, peer reviews, and breakout rooms, we create an inclusive environment where learners feel connected, valued, and open to new ideas.
