Employers looking to secure skilled talent and shape the training curriculum to meet their specific needs must act now. To become an employer partner, organizations must commit to a minimum of two hires or apprentices, ASAP. This commitment allows employers to provide their required and desired skill sets, ensuring the program aligns with their needs. Once students complete their training, employer partners will have access to job-ready candidates for hire or apprenticeship. Knowledge Transfer will equip students with our employor partner's required competencies while making every effort to incorporate employers' desired skills into the curriculum.
The IT Support Training Program offers a structured, cohort-based learning experience, emphasizing foundational IT skills, network security, technical support, and emerging technologies like AI. Employers who ACT NOW will be rest assured our students will be security-conscious, prepare for real-world challenges, and job ready for entry level IT operations, support roles, and more.

Cohort-based learning is a learning format where a group of learners moves through a course together. It is remarkably effective for adults because it provides a sense of familiarity and comfort. Cohort-based courses often have completion rates of more than 90%,
The first week is dedicated to breaking down the barriers that often accompany change. Our goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where apprentices feel comfortable taking risks, asking questions, and relying on their peers. Topics covered this week:
· Team Development: Building trust and collaboration within the cohort.
· Effective Communication: Learning to ask the right questions to achieve desired results.
· Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Techniques for effective problem resolution and decision-making.
· Agility in Action: Introduction to Agile methodologies and how to be adaptive in dynamic environments.
The core of the program focuses on developing a solid foundation in the following areas:
Networking : Gain knowledge of network fundamentals and infrastructure which includes cloud concepts, remote access methods, wireless networking, routers, switches, major protocols (ISO and TCP). Learners will also understand the process of troubleshooting a faulty network by using appropriate hardware and software troubleshooting tools.
Network Security : Learning the different techniques, tools and technologies to protect the network from unauthorized access. Upon completion of this course, learners can expect to have knowledge of identifying the different types of attacks, configuring the user authentication, identifying the protocols, implementing email protection, and managing browser security.
Support and Operations: Training for Support roles, equipping apprentices with the skills to manage and resolve basic cloud infrastructure and application issues.
Device Configuration and Management: Prepare students for success in an IT Tech Support Specialist role.
· AI and Emerging Technologies: Providing foundational knowledge in AI prompt engineering, empowering apprentices to support and leverage AI tools in various business contexts.
