This program, set to begin on January 27, 2025, is sponsored by a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor and aims to build tech talent, bridging technology skills and equity gap across communities throughout the United States. 

This is a transformative opportunity where graduates will earn 12 college credit hours through Kentucky State University (KSU), while embarking on a rewarding journey toward a career in technology. The program is designed to provide full training scholarships to individuals passionate about entering the technology industry and gaining hands-on experience. 

Program Highlights:

• Training Format: 100% remote Cohort Learning
• Duration: 14 weeks - Monday - Friday
• College Credit: 12 credit hours through KSU
• Full Scholarships: Available for qualified and committed individuals

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be considered for Software Development or a Security Apprenticeship, this immersive training covers key skills required in today’s tech world, such as:

• Agile & Scrum methodologies
• Python programming
• Web development
• Networking and Cybersecurity
• Databases and machine learning
• Setting up, developing, and monitoring development environments
• Cybersecurity trends and vulnerability mitigation

We are looking for candidates who:

• Are excited to explore the world of Software Development and Security.
• Show a strong commitment to completing the immersive program and achieving success in the tech industry.

Requirements:

• Must be a resident of Franklin County, Kentucky or willing to relocate
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or hold permanent residency.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
